Cuerno Verde Pines, located southeast of the towns of Westcliffe and Silver Cliff, is a place of natural beauty and as a Covenant protected community is committed to enhance property values while preserving natural resources. In order to protect our community and its members now and for generations to come, the Cuerno Verde Covenants, Bylaws and Policies are dutifully enforced.
Cuerno Verde has much to offer, including a community clubhouse and large open spaces for hiking and wildlife viewing, several designated streams plus county maintained roads for the majority of Cuerno Verde properties. Cuerno Verde Pines is the name of the subdivision while Cuerno Verde Owners Association refers to the people who live here – the very best part of ownership in Cuerno Verde Pines!
A few words from our ‘Hike the Loop’ organizer, Sally Strom:
We had a great turn-out for this year’s Hike the Loop! We had 31 participants, including 3 grandchildren and 3 well-behaved dogs. We had a good mix of newcomers and several who have hiked every year since the first hike in 2016. The weather was perfect, although chilly for our trek through Antelope Valley. We all enjoyed viewing the eclipse thanks to several hikers who brought special glasses. Even more cool were the shadows from the trees with their crescent-shaped patterns. We all convened at the Clubhouse and had lunch – a perfect end to a nice hike. We hope to see you all next year!
